One of my favourite restaurants in Brunei. It serves one of the best Sushi in town. Since it is very popular so make sure you reserve your table before you visit.

Literally one of the best Sushi Restaurants in KB. Price is on the mid-high range which well compensate by the excellent presentation. We went in a group of 8 and the service is on point. One thing you should know, the restaurant is located in 1st floor. We came in the day before leaving under the impression that the restaurant was closed. That’s what you get when you don’t make a reservation. Its never empty place too so make sure you book a reservation and secure your place to eat!

Fav sushi place in KB. As a non-seafood eater, their chicken range is good. Gotta try their agedori chicken and cheese fried chicken, which pairs well with their garlic rice. Avocado maki, Cheese maki and Creamy Koroke are good starters.

Pleasantly surprised! They have quite an extensive menu. Unfortunately didn't get to try Otoro today as it wasn't available. Chutoro was not bad. Beef Ramen was a tad too sweet to my liking but was still a good bowl of ramen. Service staff were all friendly and accommodating, topping up our green tea. Recommended when you have Japanese craving.

Taste and quality is the same as in Bandar branch. Smaller space but still beautiful and a great place to have a fancy dinner in KB. The lighting is beautiful for taking pictures of the sushi. The only issue would be the service. Though service is quick, staffs seem to always be in a rush and aren’t friendly. Heres what we recommend: KAIZEN MAKI. Their signature sushi! Spicy raw salmon, fish roe and tempura fritters. Its creamy, slightly spicy and crunchy. SANDWICH SUSHI MAKI. Shaped into cute triangles and served in 8pcs. Spicy crabstick salad, tempura fritters drizzled with spicy mayo. Its a great deal for the portion, taste and price. SAKE MENTAIYAKI UNAGI AVOCADO MAKI. Deliciously creamy maki! Raw torched salmon, grilled eel, salmon skin, avocado and cod roe. HANAI IKURA SUSHI. Sushi rice wrapped in thick raw salmon generously topped with ikura. Quite an expensive dish but the taste will make you addicted! SAKE HARASU. Delicious soft fatty salmon belly skewers thats perfectly charred and brushed with sweet and savoury teriyaki sauce. CRUNCHY MAKI. Super crunchy fried salmon skin in a bit of teriyaki topped with mayo, tobiko and sesame seeds. Highly addictive. Overall, food was great though I don’t normally eat at Kaizen but it’s undeniable that some of their sushi is unique and delicious. Will definitely be coming back for more!

We had to make a reservation for dinner as the place is popular and usually packed. Though busy, we did not have to wait long for our food to be served. We love the fresh and meaty sashimi served. The grilled salmon miso was a little over cooked, but the Kaisen maki was very good. It was loaded with some crispy batter that gave a good crunch to the maki. The veggie tempura was served piping hot with a variety of lightly battered veg.
